I took a car in I was planning to buy from Shift to be inspected prior to decision. I made an appointment for 2 days out. The shop is a bit hard to find the first time. Its towards the back of an office park with no signage out front. When I spoke to the owner he said that they are not allowed to have any signage outside. When I arrived at the shop it was obvious that they are short on office staff. Do not expect this to be a rush place. The pace is more like the doctors office. Your car's doctor. I came to this shop because my friend Roger started working here as a mechanic and I follow him. It took the guys about an hour at the end of the day to complete my inspection. I was signed up for text alerts after I left my car at the shop. I was very impressed with the way that they write up in detail and take pictures of everything. The service writer was able to show me the different parts of my car via the pics. I did not feel taken advantage of or like they were trying to charge me extra for something I didn't need. Good job!

Ann and her staff were amazing. This was the first time any mechanic or staff member gave me a detailed explanation of what was wrong with my vehicle. Ann even showed me the damaged part and went over what it does. She then gave me a visual explanation of the condition of my car—upcoming concerns. I will be bring all of my family’s vehicles here for service.

They typically go above and beyond in their work to make sure you as the customer are satisfied. Even on short notice diagnosis they are on it and quick to help! Always have plenty of time to make An appointment for you as well within a week or less.

I am so glad to have found such a reputable auto repair business since moving to the area. From the first initial visit, Ann and the team did a thorough job of inspecting my old commuter car and explaining what they found - they even take pictures and take the time to explain what they see to help me understand better. They made me aware of potential trouble spots that may come up in the near future - but no pressure to get it fixed “right away”. Ann explained that they only highly recommend to fix something if they see that there is potential danger in driving vehicle. They are completely up front and transparent about repairs that are needed. I’ve had my car’s regular maintenance done and also repair of my gas door/trunk lever that broke. They always do such a fantastic job with my lil old commuter and I feel safe driving my car knowing they have inspected it. Their service is top notch and I highly recommend them!
